- The department Markets and Central Functions is responsible for performing audits in Erste Group Bank AG, its subsidiaries and Austrian legal entities part of the Erste Group. A second responsibility is the coordination of audit activities within Erste Group for the audit area of responsibility.
- Your Tasks
- Perform audits as part of the Group audit team in Austria as well as in cooperation with colleagues in our subsidiaries. Support our audit units in CEE countries concerning KYC, AML and CFT audit topics.
- The focus of Markets and Central Functions audits is on the processes and controls in the areas:
- Group Markets and respective end to end transactional processes
- Organization and IT processes
- Accounting, Controlling, HR and other Central functions
- During the Audit work you will be responsible to
- develop or tailor audit programs based on common audit standards,
- carry out fieldwork,
- prepare Audit Reports and
- drafting and reconciliation of audit findings and recommendations
- Participate in joint audits together with IT auditors
- Your Background
- Min. 5 years experience in (auditing) KYC, AML and CFT. Ideally we expect an audit relevant certification (such as CIA, CISA, ACCA etc.) or in the process of obtaining certification
- Preferably you coordinated audits in KYC, AML and CFT and you are familiar with data analysis; basic knowledge or willingness to learn Python
- You are able to
- cooperate in a team with other auditors also with members of different subsidiaries in the group and
- communicate well in critical situations
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills in English and preferably German
- Knowledge of banking regulatory framework and specific knowledge of KYC, AML and CFT regulatory framework
- To support joint audits between business and IT audits basic IT audit knowledge is required

- The minimum wage for this full-time position in accordance with the collective agreement with complete fulfillment of the functional profile is EUR 40.635,84 gross per year. But this is just a formality - we would be happy to talk about your actual salary in person!
